Rappers Pitbull, Flo Rida To Host 5,000 Fans During Private Performance In The Bahamas

(AllHipHop News) Rappers Pitbull and Flo Rida have been announced as headlining acts for the Bud Light Port Paradise Music Festival, which will take place in November in the Bahamas.
The Miami rappers will hit the stage along with artists like Far East Movement, Young the Giant, THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS and Brad Paisley.
The performances at the two-day festival is being sponsored by Bud Light. The company is sending 5,000 fans to the Bahamas as part of a contest being run on its Facebook page.
“Port Paradise offers Bud Light fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience that combines amazing musical acts and an unmatched setting for a party like no other,” said Mike Sundet, vice president of Bud Light. “This year’s eclectic lineup takes Port Paradise to the next level with a two-day music festival at the heart of the cruise.”
The performances will take place at Atlantis in Nassau on Saturday, November 17 and on the private island of Coco Cay on Sunday, November 18.

Well, here is the real deal in the rumor world. There’s some rumblings that The Dream’s ex lady Christina Milian is dating Rap-A-Lot’s J. Prince’s son, Jas Prince. I hope you processed that right. Anyway, the two have been seen out and about the town (what town, I don’t know) and going on shopping sprees.
I think Christian needs to get a new deal and come back out as a singer, not somebody that calls the paps on themselves. Oddly enough, there were rumors that C. Milli signed to Young Money and had a relation with a key member in the YM crew. I don’t think that can be a reality now.
Oh yea, Jas is still suing Young Money for millions.

Welcome to the end of a great week and the day you realize that giving up is sometimes OK! I’ve been spreading these messages of encouragement and empowerment for quite some time, and
one thing that is consistent in my message is that it is always too early to quit, nothing is impossible, and you can have anything you put your mind to.
While all of the above is true, one thing I never clarified is the fact that not all quitting is created equal. Many times as we go through trials and tribulations, we feel as if we must
continue to fight no matter what! Make sure you are choosing your battles wisely! If it’s worth having, then it’s worth fighting for, but don’t just fight for the sake of fighting! Sometimes rejection is protection!
The fact that you are going through certain obstacles may be an indication that you need to reevaluate what you are pursuing. I once read a profound quote from a book title – “Impossible is Stupid” – and it says…. “Quitting is not giving up, it’s choosing to focus your attention on something more important. Quitting is not losing confidence, it’s realizing that there are more valuable ways you can spend your time. Quitting is not making excuses, it’s learning to be
more productive, efficient, and effective instead. Quitting is letting go of things (or people) that are sucking the life out of you, so you can do more things that will bring you strength.”
Take heed to this and know when to say enough is enough!! Use your energy on the things that will help you succeed in life! Work Smarter not Harder!!

Jordin Sparks Speaks Candidly on “Sparkle” and Working With Whitney Houston

At the time singer Jordin Sparks was approached to play the lead in Sparkle, she had recently parted ways with her management and didn’t know what was going on with her label.
It’s been a “blessing,” Sparks reveals, as she was unsure what was next. The Old School, big screen remake finds her paired with the late icon Whitney Houston and a cast of her up and coming entertainment peers.

Chart Watch: Elle Varner Debuts at #2; Rick Ross Moves 60,000 Units

(AllHipHop News) Billboard has released its numbers for the week and Elle Varner takes home the spotlight as the largest gainer, jumping onto the charts at #2 with her breakthrough album, Perfectly Imperfect, selling 33,000 copies this week according to Nielsen SoundScan and Billboard.com.
Reviewing the Top 5 albums, Rick Ross was the top selling Hip-Hop and R&B artist grossing over 60,000 sales of his God Forgives, I Don’t project. The figure was a decline of (73%) from his previous week’s sales, but the project remains at #2 on the Billboard 200 and it is currently the #1 Rap Album.
Nas’ dropped down to the #3 slot moving 18,000 copies of Life Is Good, a decline of (42%). While Frank Ocean’s, Channel Orange, remains at No. 4 moving 13,000 units a (30%) drop in sales. Lastly, Chris Brown dials in at No. 5 selling about 14,000 units, a (28%) drop in sales.
R Kelly sits at #8 on the Hip-Hop and R&B charts as he also landed at #43 on the Billboard 200 charts with his project Write Me Back, his 14th Top 10 album.
Bob Marley and the Wailers made a significant increase this week as the Marley: The Original Soundtrack, showed a growth upwards of nearly 3,000 copies. Increased sales were largely attributed to the documentary, “Marley” that released recently on August 7.
2 Chainz and Drake stay on top of the Singles Charts as well this week, as their song “No Lie,” remains as the most requested songs on radio stations.
In addition, Meek Mill now has a Top 5 song, also with the assistance of Drake on the track “Amen”.
Wale’s “Bag of Money” jumped up a few spots as well, increasing its numbers by (12%), while Kanye’s track Mercy featuring the assistance of 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Pusha T, slid down to the 3-4 slot roughly three weeks removed after its reign on the top of the charts.

Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” Delayed Until October

(AllHipHop News) Maybach Music’s Meek Mill has revealed his highly anticipated debut album Dreams and Nightmares has been pushed back.
The original release date of August 28 for Dreams and Nightmares has been moved until October, so the Philly rapper can put the finishing touches on the album.
Dreams & Nightmares oct.30th sorry for the push back,” Meek Mill tweeted. “i had to get a few things right! Classics ain’t easy!”
The news of Meek’s delay comes just four weeks after the release of Maybach Music CEO Rick Ross’ album God Forgives, I Don’t.
The album sold over 200,000 records in its first week and went to #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart.

Before Beanie makes his surrender to federal authorities on September 12 to serve a two-year sentence, the “Broad Street Bully” has also been taking some time to free his mind in a series of “Man-to-Man” discussions with well-known activist and spiritual leader, Dr. Ben Chavis. Ice Cube has conquered music, movies, and television, and is worth a reported $100 million. The West Coast jack of all trades is currently working on the highly anticipated N.W.A. movie, as well as the new installment of Friday. In between all this filmmaking, Ice Cube has found the time to take part in the Coors Light “Coldest MC Search.”
“It’s dope that Coors Light is reaching out to the Urban community,” said Ice Cube. They did this [search] last year with N.E.R.D., and I was like, we have the relationship, I have the [commercial] with the can to see whose the coldest, so it’s only right I jump into the search for the coldest contest this year.”
Ice Cube played host to the six finalists in New York City recently and was on deck to select a winner. Before the winner was announced, Ice Cube led a rap cypher. The contestants, who hailed from New York, New Orleans, Charlotte, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Baltimore each took turns spitting their hottest 16 bars.

Odd Future Launches Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival

(AllHipHop News) Hip-Hop collective Odd Future is expanding their brand, with a new carnival that is slated to launch in September.
Odd Future will present the first annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival and show, being presented in conjunction with Incase.
Odd Future’s carnival will feature games, contests, prizes and handpick food by Odd Future group members.
The first Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival will take place on September 30, at Club Nokia in Los Angeles.
Odd Future members, The Internet, Trash Talk will also perform during the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival.
Odd Future is currently on the Camp Flog Gnaw tour, which will culminate in the Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival on September 30.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Charles Hamilton “Upset” With His Fans

Last we heard about Charles Hamilton, he had allegedly been beat up by a pack of “flamin f*ggots” – you can READ THAT STORY HERE. The talented but tormented rapper recently did an interview with MTV, were he speaks about his music getting “more aggressive” after being locked up. Hamilton was arrested for resisting arrest in Ohio back in 2010. In the interview, Hamilton also expresses his disappointment in his fans. Check out what he said below:
“When I was incarcerated, my songs got a little more aggressive, but after I did some time and came back to NYC, I was a little upset at my fans because they were saying some pretty harsh things about me when I was locked up.”
“This is not how you should approach somebody who’s been showing you guys free love.”
Hamilton, who has been rumored to have a substance abuse problem, says drugs had nothing to do with his problems in the past.
“[People] were blaming insanity … because certain details didn’t hit the surface, but it had nothing to do with drugs, it had nothing to do with alcohol, it was about me standing up for women, once again.”
What about his deal with Interscope? Charles shed some light on what went wrong with that deal, and says that he’s not opposed to signing a new record deal under “very specific” terms.
“Interscope had to choose between traditional and the new wave, and I said ‘this new wave costs ya’ll less money and less compromise’ but it took people on the inside to say to Interscope ‘ya’ll don’t know what you’re doing with this kid.’ A lot of the inner workings weren’t made clear to me, and I took it very personally. ‘What is it about me that I’ve gotta get the ax?’

Earlier this week, we told you how the G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, Cruel Summer, was getting pushed back yet again due to four more features. We hear that one of those features has been tough to get and has been the main reason behind the push back. What feature is that you ask? Well, it’s none other than Yasiin Bey aka Mos Def.

Every morning as I get myself ready for the day, I always listen to some type of inspirational music to pump me up… One of my new favorites is “Go Get It” by Mary Mary. In the song, one of the Mary’s is heard saying…. “It’s alright to crawl before you walk, it’s alright to walk before you run, but if you wanna get what you never got, gotta do something that you never done..”.
This line resonates with me every time I hear it because it’s the absolute truth! If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten! The only way to live the life you truly want to live is to get comfortable being uncomfortable!
Stop Thinking and Living in the Box! The box is about standard, mediocrity, normal, regular!! Get out of that box and live beyond in the land of extraordinary…. Lil Wayne Pushed Dedication Mixtape To Help 2 Chainz’s Album

(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne and DJ Drama were to deliver the highly anticipated Dedication 4 mixtape yesterday (August 15), but the project has been pushed back until further notice for a good cause.
The Young Money mogul didn’t want to interfere with the release of 2 Chainz’s Based On A T.R.U. Story album which was released on same day.
“I know I was supposed to drop that mix tape and all that, all that. But listen, my homeboy 2Chainz just dropped his album yesterday,” Lil Wayne said in a viral video. “That’s my real, real, real, real good homeboy right there and I refuse to put any attention on me when he spotlight – everybody’s eyes, everybody’s attention, everybody’s focus – should be on my n***a 2Chainz album Based On A T.R.U. Story. So therefore, I ain’t giving you Dedication 4 yet.”
Mack Maine delivered the news to fans via Twitter yesterday.
“Dedication 4 will not drop today….we will announce the new date soon…(Dodges bullets). Announcement and something special will be delivered by@LilTunechi today….#stayTUNEd.”
Lil Wayne said he would likely give the Dedication mixtape in a week or so. The full video is below.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Stic.Man Of Dead Prez Speaks On Nas Ghostwiting Rumors!

Dead prez’s Stic.Man was named in a tweet by writer Dream Hampton for ghostwriting Nas’s last album. Well, that didn’t take long and now Stic.Man has spoken up and when so far as to call her a “hater.” [READ: Nas Denies Using Ghostwriters!] He later took that back, but he didn’t mince words about the assertion that he and Jay Electronica ghostwrote Nas’s last album. I think that in the interest of being objective, it is clear that he worked with Nas in some way and form. But that’s with ANY artist you can name in the game. OK, maybe not Canibus, but he’s not exactly in the game either. Anyway, Dreamy H. has her share of old rumors swirling too. Some stuff is better left unsaid, especially on twitter.

EXCLUSIVE: Sir Michael Rocks Speaks On The Cool Kids, Chuck Inglish And The Status Of “Shark Week”

(AllHipHop News) Following the release last week of his new project, Lap of Lux, Sir Michael Rocks spoke to AllHipHop.com about his relationship with his Cool Kids brother Chuck Inglish, the decision to go solo, and when the fans can expect their sophomore album Shark Week.
“That’s my brother, man. We don’t have no beef, there’s no problem, there’s no issue,” Rocks said of Chuck Inglish. “We’re just as tight as we were whenever we started. It’s just we’re smart enough to know that we can do damage more than one way.”
Regarding the amount of time they spent helping to craft each others projects, Rocks said, ”We’ve pretty much been separate on this one so we can see what we can do separately, you know what I mean? I feel like the stronger we get separately, the stronger we’ll be as a group. I feel like it will only make us both stronger as a unit.”
Now that Rocks’ Lap of Lux has been released, Chuck will be releasing his own solo project, Convertibles, later this year. When asked about his brother’s production skills and evolution in the studio, Rocks gave some very honorable props. “With the right amount of work he could be a Kanye, Pharrell, [Dr. Dre], [Timbaland], Lex Luger, Hit-Boy.”
He continued, “He’s got his own sound, so I feel like he should be sprinkling his beats over a bunch of different high profile projects and just getting his name out there and everything. I felt like he need to be sprinkling those on a lot of major artists, too, man, ’cause they love his sound. He got it. He got his own style, so I feel like it’ll be beneficial to both of us if he’s building up his resume and building the price of his beats higher and higher. ‘Cause that’ll look better for us when we’re rapping on them.”
About the status of The Cool Kids sophomore album, Shark Week, Rocks told AllHipHop.com, ”I think that right now we should do these solo things for a second and just establish where we want to be with this, and then we come back when people have kind of forgotten about it. I want people to forget about it and not be fresh on their mind.”
“I think that what we have done and accomplished already is already written in stone, and I feel like it can last as long as we want it to…I’m not really in a rush to just throw something out just to do it ’cause I feel like The Cool Kids name means a lot. Anything we put out will be well thought out and timed well, so we’re going to chill on [Shark Week] for a second.”

FEEL RICH TIP OF THE WEEK: Overcoming Hurdles to Progress!

When was the last time you made a commitment to change your workout or diet status? What was the end result? Did you make a lasting change? Are you doing it today? 
The problem is not in the intention. It’s not in your desire to change. It’s in your preparation. And the preparation MUST begin in your head. Changing habits (for better or for worse) always begins in the way you think.
Talk to any professional involved in major life changes (from addiction counselors to doctors to personal trainers), and you’ll find they preach the same message: “If you can’t envision it, you’ll never achieve it.”
With that, here are the biggest hurdles to progress:
1. Justifying cheating. “It’s okay to have McDonald’s today. I’ve been good all week, and I even did a few extra minutes on the treadmill yesterday!” This kind of thinking will only get yourself into trouble. Doing a little extra is great and will help you reach your goal faster. However, it doesn’t justify getting off track with your diet and workout plan. Cheating feels good in the short-term, and it’s easy to have one skipped workout or one cheat meal lead to many more.
2. Not setting yourself up for success. Having bags of potato chips lying around and watching movies all weekend is a surefire way to make sure you fail. Let’s be realistic here. Even the most disciplined, motivated person is going to mess up if they are surrounded by temptation constantly. Clear out all that fatty food and make it harder for you to cheat. If you know you’ll be tempted to cheat at a certain time of the day, have a healthy snack ready for just that reason.
3. Not getting a support group. You need people who believe in you and will keep you honest. People who support and encourage you. If you surround yourself with positive people who challenge you to grow as a person, it’s hard to go back to bad habits. Before you make a lifestyle change, talk with those closest to you. Once you let them know how important this is to you, they can keep you on track and cheer you on along the way.
4. Not doing damage control when you slip. I know you don’t want to hear this, so brace yourself: You will mess up on your workout and/or diet! It might not be a big slip-up, but it will happen. Something will get in the way, you’ll be tempted by your favorite food, or your schedule will stop you from getting in your workout one day. When this happens, DON’T FREAK OUT! Brush it off and continue on your plan. You messed up, but it’s okay. Just don’t let it be an excuse to sabotage your plan. Eating one bowl of ice cream is okay. Eating the whole container “because you already cheated” is not!
5. Not allowing yourself to enjoy the process. Take note of the changes you make! These small victories will fuel your fire to keep it up. Take a picture before you begin anything. When you look back at it in three months, you will hardly recognize the person in the picture, even though you didn’t think you were making much progress.
So before you set your next goal, remember to put in the mental work to set yourself up for success. It might seem like a hassle now, but how many times have you started to make this type of change and ended up failing? Take a few minutes to set yourself up for success and you will it will be so much easier to stick with long-term.

Ray Lavender Releases “The RNB Hustler”, Features Rick Ross, Akon and More

R&B singer Ray Lavender has released The RNB Hustler, the culmination of his two summer singles “Tequila” and “We Love”.
After releasing three singles back in 2007, Lavender shelved his debut album with Akon’s Konvict Music, switched teams, and went back into the studio to find his best musical self. Today, he’s an independent artist signed to Global Artist Group, an imprint in which he co-owns.

Non Hip-Hop Rumors: Is Janet Jackson Broke?

News broke today that Michael Jackson’s estate has put in a request to pay a portion of Janet Jackson’s mortgage on her Las Vegas condo. So is Janet Jackson broke or what? Sources have confirmed to TMZ that Katherine Jackson is claiming that she stays at the condo and wants the estate to pay a pro-rate share of Janet’s mortgage. There sounds like there’s some funny business going on with Michael’s money. But not sure if this means that Janet is broke or not. She’s had a more than 30-year career for Pete’s sake!
Janet’s image has taken a huge hit lately. Just a few weeks ago, she was accused of allegedly conspiring with her brothers and sisters to “kidnap” their mother, Katherine. Around the same time, Janet was also accused of being an evil aunt by Michael’s daughter, Paris Jackson, and was seen on video snatching the cell phone out of the little girl’s hand.
What’s going on with Janet Jackson?

Action Bronson Inks Deal With Warner Bros. And VICE Records; Projects With Alchemist, Harry Fraud And More In-The-Works

(AllHipHop News) After steadily increasing his buzz over the last few years and putting out quality reject after quality project, Action Bronson has officially announced his newly-signed joint record deal with Warner Bros. and VICE Records.
“Vice/Warner Bros.is the label. I promise to never make candy cane bullshit music as long as i live!!!!!!!,” Bronson tweeted late last night (August 12). He joins a roster that also includes electronic groups like Justice and Chromeo as well as Reggae star Vybz Kartel.
Most recently, the Queens native released his Blue Chips mixtape with DJ and producer Party Supplies, and he has a number of other projects in the works, as he shared with AllHipHop.com in early June.
Among those mentioned was Rare Chandeliers with The Alchemist, Blue Chips 2 with Party Supplies, Saab Stories with Harry Fraud, and Well Done II with Statik Selektah.
Regarding Saab Stories with Alchemist, he said, “Well, me and Alchemist have been working a lot, so that’s next. We got a bunch of joints out there, man. We ready for this year. That will be the next thing – very soon. I want to get it out just as bad as a couple of people want to hear it.”
No word has been released about Action Bronson’s Warner Bros./VICE debut.
EXCLUSIVE – “Ain’t Gon Let Up”: DG Yola Leaves Prison and “Breaks Da Knob” With New Mixtape and Outlook

(AllHipHop News Feature) The last time most fans heard anything about Atlanta rapper DG Yola was in August 2009, as he surrendered to serve time in prison for shooting his cousin in a family dispute gone too far.
Three years have passed since DG Yola, one of the South’s most promising rappers of the late 2000s, was first incarcerated over the incident, and the hours, days, weeks, and months spent locked away – three years in total – were well spent.
According to DG Yola, he used the time to write an enormous amount of material. Then, upon his recent transfer to Atlanta Transitional Center’s work release program, the rapper got crafty about how to work his first “real” job while breathing new life into his rap career.
“I wrote everyday, everyday for like 36 months, everyday, day in and day out. I came out with something like 2,500 songs,” DG Yola told AllHipHop.com in a recent, exclusive interview. “I touched down, I’m at the halfway house transitioning…still transitioning my life. From time to time – we at Raheem’s Seafood – I’ll just drop songs or whatever.
“You know, they let me work and make songs from time to time here in the shop on a laptop. It all plays itself out—while I’m in here cooking, I can still find time to make a song. That’s how I came up with the Mr. Broke Tha Knob situation.”
Mr. Broke Tha Knob (titled for how everyone in Atlanta is “turned up” these days) is DG Yola’s latest mixtape project, which he described as pure street, without the “outerspace swag” that some of his fellow Atlanta artists have been reaching for lately. But, he insisted he wasn’t referring specifically to Future (and his Pluto album), and said he’s glad all types of rappers can gain respect, especially independents.
“I’m doing everything – me and my manager – we’re doing everything out of our pocket. If a label did want to step in and back it up, I mean, that’ll help,” DG Yola said. He was coy about whether labels are actually scouting him now; however, the word on the street is that he is “in talks.”
Known for his Southern, street mentality on past records, DG Yola made his mark with the hit single “Ain’t Gon Let Up” – and those words may ring prolific, if he can avoid the revolving door that often finds former inmates right back where they started.
Said DG Yola, “I got shot in my mouth before, and I was rapping with wires on my mouth, with wires on my teeth. So it’s just that I’m a very determined person, you know what I’m saying? If I want it, I’ma get it, and at the end of the day, if that’s what it is, I’ma have it, you know? I don’t look at myself no different from nobody. It is what it is.”
His cousin has made a full recovery since the shooting, and has forgiven him, too: “You know, I talked to my cousin. I talked to him or whatever; we let everything go. As far as the family, everybody still the same – it’s just something that happened, something we got to dealt with, and something we got to live with. There ain’t no bad blood or nothing like that. In the heat of the moment, there’s no telling what you’ll do. And I ain’t just the person to go for certain things. So, at the end of the day, I feel like it was wrong. I ain’t have to shoot him but I shot him, and he forgave me for it, so it is what it is.”
As for whether his relatively light shooting sentence was a matter of luck because it involved his cousin, DG Yola remarked, “Cuz is lucky it was him, ‘cause somebody else probably wouldn’t have made it through that. I mean, cuz lucky, you know what I’m saying? He ain’t the first person, and he might not be the last, but I mean, I’m not here to speak on who or what I’d do. I mean, cuz just violated. I’m a person who you shouldn’t violate. I got my lines, I got my boundaries. It’s certain things about me that you don’t do, so at the end of the day, he lucky. But, if it was somebody else, I probably wouldn’t have gotten out of prison.”
Yet, DG Yola said he has worked on anger management and is constantly putting life in perspective. At the conclusion of the interview, he shouted out a list of over 25 friends, and most of them were dead or incarcerated.
“The past three years, it’s just really been like a downtime…time for me to get myself together as far as mentally, and evaluate myself, you know what I’m saying?” DG Yola said. “It really just showed who all is gonna be there for you when your back’s against the wall. The last three years have really been like an evaluation process. I got my mind right; I’m focused now, so I guess it was well needed.”

CeeLo And His Sister Launch “GreenHouse Foundation”

(AllHipHop News) Atlanta rapper CeeLo Green and his sister Shedonna Alexander have teamed up to create The GreenHouse Foundation, a new non-profit organization.
CeeLo Green and his sister’s new non-profit will focus on making green education more accessible to students in underserved areas around the country.
The siblings will launch The GreenHouse Foundation on August 17 at Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy, also a GreenHouse School Partner, where CeeLo attended elementary school.
The first initiative is the “Green Garden Education Program,” which allows schools to become “GreenHouse School Partners.”
“The Green Garden program will use outdoor gardening as an innovative tool to teach math and science. It will allow students to experience a new approach to “green education,” stated co-founder Shedonna Alexander. “We are committed to the mission to empower children with the knowledge, attitude and desire to positively influence their futures, their communities and the long-term sustainability of their planet.”
The GreenHouse Foundation is scheduled to launch on August 17 in Atlanta, Georgia, during a ceremony dedicated their late mother Sheila J. Callaway Tyler.
Confirmed guests include CeeLo Green, Shedonna Alexander, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed Goodie Mob and a performance by legendary Jazz singer Kathleen Bertrand.

Hip-Hop Rumors: Chad Johnson’s 911 Call Released, VH1 Cancels “Chad & Ev”

Former Miami Dolphin football star Chad Johnson a.k.a. Chad Ochocinco has had the worst week ever. Earlier this week, he was arrested for domestic violence against his new wife of three weeks, “Basketball Wives” star, Evelyn Lozado. According to the police report, the two got into an argument after Evelyn found a receipt for condoms in Chad’s car. According to her account, when she confronted Chad about it, he became really aggressive and head butted her on her forehead leaving a 3-inch gash. However, according to Chad’s account, Evelyn was the one who flew off of the handle and head butted him.
Well, the good people over at TMZ have already gotten their hands on the 911 call Evelyn’s neighbor made for her on her behalf. You can hear Evelyn in the background giving the neighbor the requested information. Take a listen to the call below:
Chad was immediately arrested and booked – he ended up spending the night in jail. The following morning when he was released, he went directly to meet with the Miami Dolphins front office team. That meeting must not have gone well, because later in the day, it was announced that the Dolphins had dropped Chad from the team. OUCH!
The couple had just come back from a lavish wedding and honeymoon in the Islands. The wedding was filmed by VH1 for a wedding special that was originally going to air before their new reality show “Chad And Ev”. VH1 has announced that both the wedding special and their reality show are now cancelled, in light of the domestic violence accusations.
Wow, they almost had it all. Was it Ev who head butted Chad, or the other way around? We’ve all seen “Basketball Wives”, and we know Ev has a hell of a temper, but Chad has also been accused of domestic violence numerous times in the past, dating back to his college years. Who do you believe?

We all know that Jay Electronica worked on Nas’ Untitled (N-word) album and they created some phenomenal work together, but what if I told you that Jay Elect was Nas’ ghost writer on that project? WMJ’s from Rappers I Know wrote an editorial called “Nas Lost (Ghostwriters)”, where he flashes back to 2007 and recalls a phone call he got from Jay Elect claiming to be Nas’ ghost writer. Is Nas just lazy? When it’s public knowledge that the ‘greatest lyricist’ of our era, has ghost writers, what does that mean? Like, he has the ability to write crazy raps, but it’s like doping in the Olympics, how can we ever trust the good results again? Reports: Cali Rapper Tone Loc Has Seizure At Comedy Club

(AllHipHop News) California rap legend Tone Loc suffered a seizure during a comedy show at the Laugh Factory last night, sources said.
The rapper was attending a charity event to benefit “My Friend’s House,” an organization that helps homeless. Suddenly, he began to “flail around in his seat,” according to sources with TMZ.
The rapper reportedly struggled to breath and was sweating profusely. He was cooled down with cold water.
An ambulance was called, but the 46-year-old rapper recovered and didn’t need the paramedics.
Loc left the venue immediately and was home resting at press time.
In the past, the rapper has told authorities that he suffers from seizures. A rep for the rapper says he did not have a seizure at the Laugh Factory and that some food made him ill.

Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland Speaks On Group’s Cash Money Debut “Stampede Of the Disco Elephant”

(AllHipHop News) Since the news broke regarding Limp Bizkit’s signing to Cash Money Records in late Febuary, not much has been said from either party on when or what to expect the group’s inaugural album with the label.
Some light has finally been shed on the progress of Limp Bizkit’s seventh studio album, the tentatively titled Stampede of the Disco Elephant, thanks to guitarist Wes Borland.
Borland told Billboard, “We’ve got a bunch of songs, and we’re not at the point where I can go, ‘Yes, the record is starting to form’ and see where all of this is going. Right now, we’re recording songs, and it’s been all over the place as far as what it is we’re doing. They don’t make sense together yet.
“We’re planing on doing songs with them more geared to what they have to offer as far as their producers and what their expectations are for what we’re doing,” Borland continued. “At the same time all those artists on Cash Money are starting to discover rock and put an electric guitar element into their songs, and I’m really itching to get my foot in the door and be part of that.”
To date, the only song that has been heard since Limp Bizkit’s signing with Cash Money came in the form of the Lil Wayne-assisted “Ready To Go,” which was released in March.
In addition to the update on the group’s album, Borland told Billboard that Lil Wayne has already reached out to him about playing on his own forthcoming release, I Am Not A Human Being 2.
